Vampires are free to believe anything they want about themselves, so long as they stay connected to the mortal world. In that sense, Requiem's view of Integrity has a difficult time reconciling Paths of Enlightenment. Socialize with humans is nearly impossible too, since the cracks begin to show on the mask - you're less Hugh Hefner and more Jeffery Dahmer. Determining a human's mental state or motivations becomes incredibly difficult, whether it's via an Empathy roll or Subterfuge. As your rating slides, so does your ability to "relate to humanity". This is reflected in the penalties that come with low Humanity. This is when Humanity begins to degrade, not by breaking some commandments on a slab. He begins to buy into the hype that he's something other, that he's either better or worse than human. "The Devil (or, in this case, the Beast) made me do it". Literally, the Vampire is giving up his old identity, refusing to acknowledge that he is in control of his own actions. When you commit these acts, you're not Sinning, you're suffering from Detachment. "Have you given up seeing humans as people?" "Have you spent too much time in the unnatural state of Torpor?" "Is the mystical blood in your veins too potent?" "Have you outlived your friends or culture?" "Have you willingly given in to the Frenzy of your Beast?" Where once, Humanity was concerned with varying degrees of petty crime like theft and vandalism, it's now concerned with "natural" vs. This should be easily reinforced by looking through the 2e Breaking Points. That Vampires are stronger, better, that Vampires are gods. The Beast demands that a Vampire forget that she used to be human, that she accept her place above mortals at the top of the food chain. In direct opposition of this is the Beast, which represents everything base and supernatural inside a Vampire.
It's her ability to remember what being human means, what being "normal" means, and relating to the problems of normal people. So first and foremost, I feel compelled to stress that Requiem's Humanity is not a Morality, it only resembles Morality superficially. Here's a previous comment I made about the topic
